It's been half a year since my last update, most of the time on deviantart I just spend looking at the message centre seeing loads of deviations floating around. I also keep a tap on the daily deviations and news postings, although the free news submissions are still a pain since most are crap-infected.

That said, I should comment more. Recently I saw ~ArtistUnknown updated some stuff, and she was nice enough to provide some links with some of her schoolwork, she really makes amazing work.

Anyhooo, around christmas I have some time off again which will probably be invested in my new website and some musical productions that need to be finished.

I'm currently past half my holiday, had some friends over, been around, been a bit sick and had great fun. I also went to watch The Dark Knight, which seems to be a hot item everywhere. It doesn't go as deep as Batman Begins, but its nice. The Joker has been played nice and overall its a good movie. Im totally in love with the soundtrack. It's too bad that Rachel isn't played by Katie Holmes but on the other side, it's nice that they picked Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent .

I normally refrain from posting work done at my job, but this website is too cool to withold . Recently the Royal Dutch Airforce released a new interactive website to attract new people. It was entirely coded by our company, 3d is from our office as well. Concept and design is in cooperation with our partners.



In the last few weeks of development the web guys called me in from software, because they could use a hand. I've done some coding and content filling here and there, fixed a few bugs, the real props go to the rest of the team .


Anyhow, on another note: A while ago I started publishing some dutch mac related articles, ranging from hacking a fake time capsule together with 100% Time Machine compatability, to explaination of the Developer Tools. Just yesterday my article about the basic functionalities of XCode, DashCode and Interface Builder got published. I've already written and submitted my followup article, about the debugging and profiling tools (CHUD, Shark, DTrace). I hope they tickle the new mac developers, or the people interested in knowing "how-stuff-works", being written in dutch you might be able to babelfish them . After a few weeks of extra hard work, I finally have some days off again. Since there are 2 days of national holiday in the middle of the week, I took tomorrow off as well.
So I went to buy me a bookshelf yesterday, and put it together (and yeah, that's ~ailaik's work on top of it .



I've posted it at my new mobile blog, basically I put some pictures there which I take with my mobile phone, every now and then. So be sure to watch that space.
